The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), Technology Application Contracting Office (TAKO) intends to procure four (4) each CDU-7000D Display Head Monitors (DHM) units,  the intended award will result in a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) purchase order. The proposed source is Collins Aerospace, 400 Collins Road, Cedar Rapids, IA 52498. The NAICS code for this procurement is 336413 and the size standard is 1250.

The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, In Accordance With (IAW) FAR 13.106-1(b)(1).  Collins Aerospace is the only source that possesses the form, fit, and function criteria and will mitigate obsolescence issues.  The Government does not possess and cannot furnish the technical data required to procure CDU-7000D DHM units to permit full and open competition.
