This is a Notice of Intent to award a sole-source purchase order and is not a request for competitve proposals under FAR 6.302=1 "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements".  The Government intends to solicit a quote with Terumo BCT, Inc., Lakewood, CO 80215-4440, DUNS # 801678200.

Essential Requirements

As it stands, Terumo BCT, Inc is the only manufacturer in the United States that can provide all three (3) cell separating procedures as stated in the following:

- Able to perform cell separation which will consist of red cell exchanges, plasma exchanges and or leukapheresis from patients.

- Able to take cells and re-infuse back into original patients.

- Able to withdraw blood products and have it provided for patient care to     health donors.
