Workshop to be held at the Department of Energy's Brookhaven National Laboratory, Upton, New York March 8-9, 2002 Scope: Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) is organizing a workshop to be held on March 8-9, 2002 to discuss BNL's future nanoscale science research and plans for a major nanoscale research facility at BNL as well as gather input and feedback from potential users of the facility. The meeting is open to the public. It will be especially interesting to participants from research institutions and commercial and industrial organizations who may have a desire to use the leading-edge facilities that exist at BNL and the new facilities proposed for the new BNL nanocenter.
