The United States Air Force, AFLCMC/Operational Contracting Division, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio 45433-5344. This is a Sole Source synopsis published for informational purposes only. This proposed action is for a cerebral angiogram and cerebral drainage to be performed at the WPAFB 88th Medical Center. A cerebral angiogram and cerebral drainage is performed on patients that require a unique service in an effort to treat the patients' cerebral mass. These items are optimal to treat the patients flow of CSF (cerebral spinal fluid) of which is gradually decreasing due to the cerebral mass.. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1.

This proposed procurement will be a Sole Source under North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 339112. Size standard is 500 employees.

Covidien is the only known company that satisfies the critical requirements.

The minimum requirement is that the facility receives the Onyx Liquid Embolic glue, Echelon Micro Catheter, Avigo Guidewire, and Navien Guide.
