This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation AG-5114-S-10-BB29 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-44. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 311119; small business size standard is 500 employees. The USDA, ARS, MWA, National Animal Disease Center (NADC) has a requirement/need for Complete Cervid Ration - Bag and Supplemental Cervid Ration both Bag and Bulk. The award will be for a contract period starting October 1, 2010 through September 30, 2011. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) type contract. MINIMUM/MAXIMUM ORDERS: Minimum services to be rendered shall be not less than $1,000 for the contract. The maximum amount of services to be rendered against the resultant contract shall be no more than $40,000 for the contract. Delivery orders will be issued against the resultant contract and the contractor shall perform no work prior to an authorized ordering official placing the delivery call. Delivery will be required within 4 working days from the date of the call.
