This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) HC1047-08-T-0014. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-26 and Class Deviation 2005-0001 and DFARS Change Notice 2000513. The following clauses and provisions apply: FAR 52.204-7, 52.212-1, 52.212-3, 52.212-4 and 52.212-5 and DFARS 252.204-7001. The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) intends to award a commercial sole source purchase order to Northrop Grumman Corporation of Sterling, Virginia. Northrop Grumman is the only known source that can satisfy the government’s requirements in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 “Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services can satisfy agency requirements.” Northrop Grumman is the manufacturer and only seller of CGA Rack Mount hardware, software and license requirement by the government.
