1. Troubleshoot and repair #2 MDE TURBO.

Wartsila Defense Inc. is the OEM for manufacturing/maintenance of the MDE TURBO and possess the technical data and/or drawings pertaining to the ability to complete this service. The drawings/technical data are proprietary to Wartsila Defense Inc.

This procurement will be made on behalf of the USCGC HEALY. Vendor will provide all the parts listed above. NAICS Code # 333611 applies to this procurement. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. No solicitation will be issued, however all responses received on/before 1400 PST July 25th, 2018 will be reviewed by the Government. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If no affirmative responses are received by the date specified above to determine whether a qualified source is more advantageous to the Government, a purchase order will be negotiated and awarded to Wartsila Defense Inc.
