The United States Coast Guard is considering whether or not to set aside an acquisition for HUBZone concerns, for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Concerns (SDVOSB) or for Small Business. The vessel is home-ported at 600 8th Ave. SE, St. Petersburg, FL 33701. All work will be performed at the vessels home pier. The performance period will be Fifty four (54) calendar days with a start date on or about 11 April 2010 through 04 June 2010. The cost of this project will estimate between $250,000 and $500,000. The scope of the acquisition is for the overhauling, cleaning and repairing of various items aboard the USCGC RESOLUTE (WMEC-620) 210 FOOT B CLASS MEDIUM ENDURANCE CUTTER . This work will include, but is not limited to: 1 Clean Main Diesel Engine Exhaust Stacks 2 Clean Ship Service Diesel Generator Exhaust Stacks 3 Clean Boiler Exhaust Stacks 4 Clean Shipboard Ventilation Systems - Laundry 5 Clean Shipboard Ventilation Systems - Galley 6 Renew Closure 7 Clean Diesel Generator Windings In-Place 8 Clean and Inspect Heat Exchangers 9 Renew Handrail Piping 10 Renew Section of Counter Measure Wash Down Piping 11 Renew Chill Water Piping Insulation Under 2 Inches 12 Renew Chill Water Piping Insulation 13 Modify Allied D5000CT Single Point Davit Arrangement 14 Renew Steam Table Supply Valve All welding and brazing shall be accomplished by trained welders who have been certified by the applicable regulatory code performance qualification procedures.
