This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a 2-month award, not to exceed $150K, Standing Quote Agreement. The procurement is for Changeable Combination Padlock, identified as National Stock Number 5340-00-285-6523. See the attached RFQ, Item Purchase Description, for a complete description. There will be a NO minimum dollar limitation or minimum order quantity on this procurement. Delivery is required within 30 days ARO or better. Note on page 2 of the RFQ the "Marking Charges" if repackaging, repacking, or remarking is needed on deliveries.
Delivery terms for any orders issued will be FOB Destination, with direct delivery orders to any CONUS location. Awardee will be required to accept/ship orders for their product to APO/FPO addresses, and/or to naval ship locations within CONUS. If you are not willing to ship to these locations at the price quoted, DO NOT submit a quote and return this form as a "NO QUOTE".
Vendors are required to submit product technical specifications of their proposed product, sufficient to establish product conformance, as stated in the Item Purchase Description(s). If the quoter is not the manufacturer, you will be required to provide a letter from the manufacturer authorizing purchase of this padlock in the quantity noted on the schedule of items. Provide the product technical specifications of the proposed product along with the manufacturer's name, Part Number, DUNS, and Point of Contact for the item you are quoting for consideration. This award will serve as a 2-month Standing Quote Agreement not to exceed $150K.
A complete package (31 pages RFQ), along with the manufacturer's letter and product specification sheet, must be provided by the close date and time on the RFQ.
