1) THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE SYNOPSIS! The 45th Contracting Squadron has a sole source requirement for Maintanance Support for ChemCad Software. The software is used for Research and Development into environmental fate. The program models thermodynamic systems and is essential to the chemical engineering research. CC-Batch optimizes batch operations and increases productivity. CC-Dynamics allows dynamic analysis of flow sheets, including operability checkout, PID loop tuning. Operator training, on-line process control, and soft sensor functionality. Software Maintenance Support for ChemCad software and add CC-Batch Distillation Process Simulation and CC-Dynamics Chemical Process Simulation Support.
Estimated date of Award 8 FEB 13; Period of Performance 1 Year. This is a Sole Source with Chemstations Inc. IAW FAR 6.302-1. Chemstations Inc. is the only source capable of fulfilling the government's requirement. This requirement has been purchased previously under contracts FA2521-12-P-0033 (Sole-Source) & FA2521-11-P-0068 (Sole-Source) & FA2521-10-P-0078 (Sole-Source). All Three of the awards were made to CHEMSTATIONS INC., which is currently the exclusive owner/licensure of Software Maintenance Support for ChemCad software, CC-Batch Distillation Process Simulation, and CC-Dynamics Chemical Process Simulation Support. No solicitation documents exists at this time. This item/service utilizes North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 541511. Interested firms may identify their capability to respond to this requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, the government will consider any responses from capable sources received within 5 days after date of publication of this synopsis. 45 CONS/LGCB has determined that Chemstatons Inc. is the only source capable of providing this requirement.
