The Work under this Project consists of the construction and testing of two (2) 6-inch, Class IIB, PVC, gravel-packed water supply wells for the Chickahominy Riverfront Park Water System, PWSID No. 3095350, in James City County, Virginia. Work includes the drilling, construction, and testing of two (2) production wells completed in the Potomac Aquifer. All supervision, labor, materials, equipment, tools, and other appurtenances and/or incidentals required, and any other work required as specified in the Contract Documents, shown on the Drawings, or otherwise required to complete the work of this contract in accordance with the Contract Plan/Drawings and Specifications. NON-MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE will be held on August 2, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. local time at 1350 John Tyler Highway, Picnic Shelter next to swimming pool, Williamsburg, VA 23185 Bidders are strongly encouraged to walk the project site and questions pertaining to this project should be directed to Linda Hodges, via email: [email protected] prior to 12:00 PM on Friday, August 5, 2022. This is an ARPA SLFRF State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds project. This project is funded in part by grants from Federal and State agencies and is subject to certain provisions as indicated in this IFB. The Contractor shall not perform any act, fail to perform any act, or refuse to comply with any James City County (JCC) requests which would cause JCC to be in violation of Federal and State agency terms and conditions as referenced herein. Davis Bacon wages are not required under the grant being utilized for this project and there are no DBE goals. Contract goals have not been established for this contract, but offerors are encouraged to employ reasonable means to obtain DBE participation.
