The purpose of this Competitive Sealed Request for Proposal is to solicit sealed proposals from qualified, licensed and experienced architectural & engineering firm (s) in the design and construction administration of well buildings/structures for James City County (JCC) referred collectively herein as the Owner, as described in this Request for Proposal (RFP). Architectural and Engineering services including, but not limited to the design of a well building/structure and necessary support infrastructure to support two new fresh water drinking wells installed at Chickahominy Riverfront Park. The new well building and infrastructure will support the parks’ various freshwater needs. James City County is interested in a sustainable, cost-effective and efficient building to support the park into the future. Chickahominy Riverfront Park is a 140-acre park located on the Chickahominy River offering visitors year-round options for camping, boating, and fishing. Additional amenities feature over 120 campsites, including campsites that accommodate large groups, an outdoor pool, driving range, picnic shelters, camp store and playground.
