Carroll Independent School District ("CISD" or "District") is requesting proposals for CHICKEN SANDWICHES. Carroll ISD must adhere to State Purchasing Laws and competitively procure for purchases of goods and services. One method to seek bids and proposals for goods and services is to issue a RFP. This is a SINGLE VENDOR AWARD RFP for CHICKEN SANDWICHES; meaning we will award to only one vendor. If you would like to do business with CISD you MUST complete a response to this request. Discount prices will include all shipping and handling charges, F.O.B. Destination, unless otherwise noted or unless other terms have been negotiated. If you do not respond to this request, CISD may not be able to do business with your company. The contract term for this request is for the 2021-2022 school year; with three (3) additional one (1) year extensions to include 2022-2023, 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 at the mutual agreement between the District and the vendor(s). RFP SCHEDULED TIMELINE (We will make every effort to adhere to the following schedule) First Advertisement (Release of RFP) Friday, July 2, 2021 @ 8:00 AM Second Advertisement Wednesday, July 7, 2021 @ 8:00 AM Last Date for Questions - Must be submitted on CISD Ionwave website Tuesday, July 20, 2021 @ 2:00 PM Date all Questions will be answered within CISD Ionwave website Wednesday, July 21, 2021 @ 2:00 PM RFP Closes - No late submissions will be accepted Tuesday, July 27, 2021 @ 2:00 PM Evaluation / Processing Period July 28, 2021 - August 16, 2021 Vendors submitted to CISD Board of Trustees for approval Monday, August 23, 2021 @ 5:00 PM Vendors notified of award Tuesday, August 24, 2021 The District reserves the right to postpone the deadline through an addendum, as needed. The District also reserves the right to reject any or all proposal(s) and to accept the proposal(s) which offer the best advantage to CISD. Procurement results will become available after approval by the Board of Trustees. As of the issuance date of this request through the closing date; contact with Carroll ISD employees, with the exception of the Purchasing Department, is strictly prohibited. All personnel representing Carroll ISD are specifically directed not to hold meetings, conferences, or technical discussions with any vendor for purposes of responding to this request. Any vendor found to be acting in any other way contrary to this statement will be disqualified from entering into any contract that may result from this request.
