The U.S. Agency for Global Media (USAGM) is issuing a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation to furnish all labor and supplies necessary to replace/install new chillers at the USAGM’s Kuwait Transmitting Station; including demolition.

A sources sought notice (Notice ID#1071-20-IQ-00009) for this procurement was posted on 09-April-2020 to beta.SAM, and a market survey was conducted that included an assessment of relevant capabilities of potentially qualified firms. As a result of the market research, a determination has been made to solicit this procurement on an unrestricted basis inviting full and open competition.

The period of performance for the resulting contract will be three hundred sixty-five (365) days after Notice to Proceed. 

The total estimated cost of this procurement is between $500,000 and $1 Million.

The applicable NAICS Code for this procurement is 238220, with a small business size standard of $16.5 Million.

The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract to the responsible offeror whose proposal represents the best overall value to the Government, in accordance with both non-price and price factors.

The solicitation is available as of 10-AUGUST-2020 with an anticipated proposal due date of 10-SEPTEMBER-2020, and an estimated award date of 30-SEPTEMBER-2020.

The solicitation will be available for downloading by accessing the beta.SAM website (https://beta.sam.gov/). Amendments, if any, will be available at this internet site. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which may be considered by the USAGM.
