To purchase new Cisco Smartnet Extended Warranty or like third party support, as described in bid detail. Bidder must bid brand name and number as described, however, substitutions will be considered. All substitutions (third party) bidders must have trained and certified Cisco engineers to provide support. Bidders must also be able to provide Cisco IOS updates and certified replacement hardware. Bidders must include with bid a description of services being provided at the bid price. Bid will be awarded based on a combination of price and services offered at the sole discretion of the City of Bakersfield. Sales tax of 7.25% will be added to unit prices upon award, do not include sales tax in line items. Bidder must include any shipping or delivery charges in line item for inside delivery. Loading dock and forklift are not available at the delivery location. APPROXIMATE ESTIMATE It is understood that the quantities provided herein are "approximate" amounts based on previous years’ usage and are included for the purpose of comparison of bids. The City does not guarantee a minimum or maximum quantity of any product to be purchased and reserves the right to purchase greater or lesser quantities, as circumstances warrant, without any adjustments in the quoted price.
