Pursuant to FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A)&(B), the Department of Commerce (DOC)/Enterprise Services intends to negotiate a sole source, firm fixed price contract with E.C. America for "Citrix Xenapp Internet Network Connection Support and Maintenance" at the estimated price of $43,610.25. This procurement will provide Citrix Xenapp Internet Network Connection Support and Maintenance to the DOC, Bureau of Industry and Security (DOC/BIS), to maintain a consolidated and cohesive infrastructure for internet connection access and continuity of operations capabilities. The Citrix Xenapp software maintains the internet connection for BIS and aids in their market research process, the Citrix Xenapp software is critical for BIS exporters of the SNAP-R system. The DOC/OIG has used the. DOC/ BIS prefers Citrix Xenapp and therefore, would like to procure E.C. America, Inc. for the software license.
The intent of this notice is not to request competitive proposals, and any information received from interested parties will only be considered solely for determining whether a competitive procurement should be conducted. However, interested parties may submit a description of their firm's capabilities for satisfying this requirement, which demonstrates they possess the ability to successfully perform this effort.
