IB-6 TOUR OF EXISTING BUILDING: A tour of the existing building will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., CST, on March 21, 2023 by representatives of the Owner and the Architect. Owner will conduct tours at 10:00 a.m., CST, on March 22, 2023 and at 2:00 PM March 23rd. Sealed bids will be received in the Public Works office of the City of Bellevue, Nebraska until 10:00 AM., local time on Tuesday, the 4th of April, 2023, for the furnishing of labor, materials, usage of contractor's equipment, plant, and all else necessary to complete the CIP-LI23(01) BELLEVUE PUBLIC LIBRARY RENOVATION AND ADDITION project, Bellevue, Nebraska. Immediately thereafter the bids will be opened and read aloud in the presence of all interested parties. The Work consists of construction of a three-story addition to existing office building and furniture fabrication plant; interior renovations to existing office building, interior upfit of preengineered warehouse building shell, and landscape development and other site improvements. Renovation Work: Existing office space of approximately 16,500 SF on level 1 of multi-tenant office building to be renovated into offices, meeting rooms and library collection areas. Renovation work includes interior finishing and related construction including interior partitions and doors, in addition to mechanical, electrical, fire sprinkler and minor plumbing for new Family restroom, break room, and meeting room sinks. Building Addition: The Work consists of construction of an approximately 6,250 SF addition to existing office building for library collection area, and modifications to parking, walks, landscape and other site improvements.
