Separate, sealed Bids will be received for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the installation of Leveling, Resurfacing and Drainage Improvements to Cherry Street (TIA); Leveling, and Resurfacing Improvement to West First Street, Pine Street, East Park Street, Hudson Street, and East First Street; Signage and Rumble Strip Improvements to Vo-Tech Road and North Oak Street; and Striping Improvements on SR 32/US 319/Irwin Avenue. All work is located within the City of Ocilla, Georgia and shall be financed with Transportation Investment Act (TIA) and 2019-2021 Local Maintenance Improvement Grant (LMIG) funds. Bids will be received until 11:00 A.M. (local time), Thursday, December 3, 2020, at which time bids will be opened and read for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the installation of The meeting will be held at the City of Ocilla, City Hall and will be opened to the public. Proposals can be mailed to the attention of City of Ocilla, Attention: Lucile Middlebrook, P. O. Box 626, Ocilla, Georgia 31774. Proposals received after the designated time will not be considered. City of Ocilla may select a successful low bidder after evaluation of all bids. The Scope of Work Includes: -Leveling, Resurfacing and Drainage Improvements -Rumble Strips and Signage Improvements -Striping Improvements All proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in favor of the City of Ocilla in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the lump sum bid for the complete work. All work on the project must be completed by within 120 consecutive calendar days of date of Notice to Proceed.
