Separate, sealed Bids will be received for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the installation of Street and Drainage Improvements to Fifth Street located within the City of Ocilla, Georgia and shall be financed with Transportation Investment Act (TIA). Bids will be received until 10:00am (local time), Friday, September 3, 2021, at which time bids will be opened and read. The meeting will be held at the City of Ocilla, City Hall and will be opened to the public. Proposals can be mailed to the attention of City of Ocilla, Attention: Lucile Middlebrook, P. O. Box 626, Ocilla, Georgia 31774. Proposals received after the designated time will not be considered. City of Ocilla may select a successful low bidder after evaluation of all bids. The Scope of Work Includes: Street and Drainage Improvements All proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in favor of the City of Ocilla in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the lump sum bid for the complete work: such Bid Bond representing that the Bidder, if awarded a Contract, will promptly enter into a Contract and furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bonds as provided by the law and approved by the Attorney for the City of Ocilla. Performance Bond shall be equal to 100 Percent (100%) of the contract amount and Payment Bond shall be equal to 100 percent (100%) of the Contract amount. All work on the project must be completed by within 180 consecutive calendar days of date of Notice to Proceed.
