The City of Roswell Council, the governing authority of the City of Roswell, Georgia (“the City”), is seeking a qualified Licensed General Contractor who can provide renovations to the City of Roswell Town Square. The awarded Contractor will address several areas of needs that will include hardscape renovations to include granite cobblestone removal and reconstruction, repairing mortar joints in walkways, repair of existing brick pavers. Renovation of fountain to include new liner, new drain, and new lighting. The project also includes new landscape installation, sod installation, and installation of new light poles. NOTE: Contractors submitting Bids must attend the Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference and walk the site prior to submitting a proposal. The proposal is a fixed lump sum price to complete the work based on the submitting contractor's understanding of the scope and assessment of the site. Exactly 90 calendar days have been set aside for performance of the contract. Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the designated website at no charge. Prospective Bidders must register with the designated website in order to obtain official Bidding Documents. The Designed Website must also be used to submit responsive bids. Documents obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format may not be official documents. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. A Bid Bond in the amount of 5% is required. Payment and Performance bonds equal to 100% of the Awarded Contract value are required. The City of Roswell has the right to reject any or all bids; to award a contract in the best interest of the City and to waive technicalities and informalities. Any pre-bid conference for the Project, and its status as a mandatory or non-mandatory event, will be provided on, and held in accordance with the Project Schedule posted on the designated website – if posted as an event. Bids will not be accepted from Bidders that do not attend mandatory pre-bid conferences.
