The City of Valdosta is accepting bids for the Generator Installations at the Gornto Pump Station and Mud Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant The project includes installing two 1500 kW fixed generators supplied by the City of Valdosta at the two locations specified below. The work will include furnishing and installing all the appurtenances required to make the generators fully operational. One generator will be installed at the Gornto Pump Station located at 2412 Gornto Road. The other generator will be installed at the Mud Creek Wastewaster Treatment Plant located at 1638 New Statenville Highway. The project must be completed within 90 days of the notice to proceed. The Bid Documents may be viewed at the City of Valdosta Utilities Department, 1016 Myrtle Street, Valdosta, Georgia, and a pdf copy of the plans and bid documents can be requested from [email protected]. There will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting on January 13, 2021 at 11:00 a.m., at the City of Valdosta Utilities Department, 1016 Myrtle Street, Valdosta, Georgia. The City of Valdosta will receive sealed proposals on this project until January 28, 2021 at 11:00 a.m., in the Utilities Department office, 1016 Myrtle Street, Valdosta, Georgia, (229-259-3592) where at such time and place the proposals will be publicly opened and read. A 5% bid bond is required.
