The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) intends to procure from Syd Labs the following: Cloning and sequencing mouse IgG Hybridoma (7 each) antibody heavy and light chain variable regions, Amplified DNA fragments; Cloning and sequencing mouse IgM Hybridoma (3 each) antibody heavy and light chain variable regions, Amplified DNA fragments.
This will be a firm fixed price contract in accordance with the statutory authority for this sole source requirement 41 U.S.C. 3304 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 only one source available (to continue ongoing project , changing variables in the middle of the ongoing project may compromise results) no substitutions possible. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTATIONS ARE BEING REQUESTED, AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-91, dated Nov 30, 2016. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 325199, which has a size standard of 1,500 employees. All responsible sources who feel they can meet these requirements shall submit an offer that will be considered by the Agency. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Offers must be submitted no later than 5:00 P.M.
