SALEM-KEIZER SCHOOL DISTRICT CM/GC SERVICES FOR 2020 SCOTT AND MARY EYRE ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS - RESOLICITATION Bids Due October 17, 2019 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed proposals will be received by Salem-Keizer School District, Procurement & Contracting Services department, via the online e-procurement system, until Thursday, October 17, 2019, for CM/GC Services for 2020 Scott and Mary Eyre Elementary Schools - Resolicitation, RFP Number 399. The project at Scott consists of 19,025 square feet of new construction and remodel of approximately 2,000 square feet of interior spaces. No seismic upgrades are anticipated at this site. The Eyre project consists of new construction of two additions totaling approxi mately 19,065 square feet, remodel of approxi mately 2,000 square feet of interior space, and site improvements including utility service upgrades, fencing and land scaping. The District reserves the right to award the sites either independently or as a single contract, resulting in potential award to one or two Proposers. MANDATORY: A pre-proposal conference will be conducted on Tuesday, October 8, 2019, at 1:00 p.m., local time, at Central Services, Polk Room, 3630 State St, Salem, OR, 97301, for the purpose of answering any questions Proposers may have and to consider any suggestions they wish to make. The conference is mandatory and is held for the benefit of the Proposers. All Proposers wishing to submit an Offer must attend. Sign-in will begin 15 minutes prior to start of meeting. Proposers must be signing in by no later than 10 minutes after meeting start time. Any Proposers not signing in by that time will be deemed late and not eligible to submit an Offer. The District reserves the right to consider unusual or extenuating circumstances. A non-mandatory site walk will be offered at the conclusion of the meeting. The District is using an online sourcing system. Proposers wishing to submit an Offer must register on this system. The URL is https://skebid.ionwave.net. Instructions for registration, technical assistance, and training on using the system are available by appointment. At the close time, only the names of firms submitting offers will be made available. All Offers remain confidential and are not public until the conclusion of the eval uation and selection process. No Offer will be received or considered unless the Offer contains a statement by the Proposer certifying, as part of the Offer, compliance with the provisions required by ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870 (Prevailing Wage Rate). Pursuant to ORS 279C.365, no Offer for a construction contract shall be received or considered by the public contracting agency unless the Proposer is registered with the Construction Contractors Board or licensed by the State Landscape Contractors Board. Contractors and sub-contractors performing any asbestos abatement work are to be licensed by the Department of Environ mental Quality as provided in ORS 468A.700-468A.760. No Offer will be received or considered by the District unless the Offer contains a state ment as to whether the Proposer is a resident bidder, as defined in ORS 279A.120. Pursuant to ORS 279C.395 the School District may reject any Offer not in compliance with all prescribed procedures and requirements and may reject for good cause any or all offers if, in the judgment of the Board of Directors, it is in the public interest to do so.
