This notice document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-61, Effective 13 September 2012. The North American Industry Classification System Code [NAICS] is 334516 and the size standard is 500.

Sole Source Justification: This is procurement for the USAF Academy Department of Physics to be used in a classroom environment. Andor Technologies is the only known manufacturer that can produce thermo electric cooled scientific CMOS Imager with required control system to meet the above specifications. Additionally, Andor provides a vacuum sealed head with thermoelectric cooling. These features result in extremely low 1 electron read noise which is required for the work that the Cadets will perform in class.
