This is a notification that Naval Special Warfare (NSW) intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed price contract to Federal Resources Supply Company, under the statutory authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). NSW requires the purchase of Micropore ExtendAir System to include cartridges, canisters, and associated parts and material. The required Micropore product is in the Authorized for Navy Use (ANU) List as the only item capable of fulfilling NSW's requirements. Federal Resources Supply Company is the exclusive distributor to the US Government for Micropore products.

The required equipment will be acquired in accordance with the FAR Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Subpart 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 339999. The size standard is 500 EMP.

THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS.

The contractor identified is the only known source for the subject requirement. Responses to this notification will be used to determine if bonafide competition exists. Any such responses must be in writing and include technical capability information, which shall demonstrate contractor's ability to complete effort within required time. The Government will not pay for information submitted.

All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement action, based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All responses must be submitted to [email protected] and received no later than 14 July 2017 @ 5:00 PM Pacific Standard Time (PST). Verification of receipt of electronic transmission is the sole responsibility of the contractor. If no valid responses are received, an award shall be made to Woodway USA, Inc.
