The United States Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Centers, IBCT Product Line, Oakland, CA anticipates awarding sole source procurement to GYRO SYSTEMS for the following supplies:

OPEN AND INSPECT MK37 GYRO AT VENDOR LOCATION. PROVIDE CFR DOCUMENTING REPAIRS NEEDED WITH COST.

GYRO SYSTEMS is the OEM for this item. The original manufacturer of the referenced items and maintains the proprietary rights, which makes them the sole source.  The OEM has limited the availability of proprietary information.

Required Delivery Date: Cutter will ship part to vendor 7/17

 This procurement will be made on behalf of the USCGC Barbara Mabrity.  Vendor will provide all the parts listed above.  NAICS Code # 336611 applies to this procurement. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. No solicitation will be issued, however all responses received on/before 0800 PST July 15, 2018 will be reviewed by the Government.   A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals.  Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
