Solicitation N00421-12-T-0193 is issued as a synopsis/solicitation. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on sole source basis with Quinstar Technology,Inc; under the authority of FAR Part 12, FAR Part 13, and FAR Part 6.302-1. The material/service must be compatible in all aspects with existing equipment presently installed. Quinstar Technology, Inc has the proprietary rights on engineering data, design and product documentations of their products. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract. Award is anticipated 12 March 2012. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by 08 March 2012 at 9amEST will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for any information received.
