COST: When bidding electronically, enter quantity, unit bid price, and shipping cost (if applicable). Please Do Not Include Tax as this will be added later. The County will not honor charges not recorded in your electronic bid. AWARD: Award will be based on the lowest bid meeting or exceeding all specifications as defined herein. The County may award by line item, combination of like items, total aggregate award or in any manner deemed to be in the best interest of the County. The County’s decision as to product equality is final. DELIVERY: All Purchase Order or Contracted goods shall be delivered F.O.B. destination, delivery charges pre-paid, unless otherwise shown on the front of the Purchase Order or Contract. Delivery charges must be included in the price of this bid. INSPECTION: The County reserves the right before payment or acceptance to inspect all goods and workmanship, and shall have the right to reject all goods and workmanship that do not conform to the Purchase Order or Contract, provided; however, the County is under no duty to make such inspection. The County reserves the right to extend the date of acceptance of goods or workmanship in the event it determines that the nonconforming goods or workmanship can be reasonably cured. BID SUBMISSION: Bidders must submit one (1) electronic copy to the County of Sonoma’s Supplier Portal per the schedule or as revised by addendum. Bids shall be for the total net price including all applicable charges, delivered F.O.B destination with the exception of tax. Do not include tax in bid; tax is added at time of order. LOCAL SUPPLIER PREFERENCE: Sonoma County gives local businesses a preference in formal solicitations of goods as set forth in the County’s Local Preference Policy for Goods. ENVIRONMENTAL PREFERENCE: The Purchasing Agent has authority to specify recycled products for direct preferential purchase. Upon approval by the County’s Purchasing Division, a 5% cost preference shall be authorized. Supplier must submit an Environmentally Preferable Purchasing Bid Form.
