Notice of Contract Action (NOCA)

Common Very Low Frequency (VLF) Receiver (CVR) Increment 2 (i2)

The purpose of this NOCA is to notify industry that the Air Force is contemplating the use of the Air Battle Management System (ABMS) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) BAA Call 0001, Category 4 contract to meet the CVRi2 requirement. In order to participate in any potential CVRi2 solicitation, interested parties will need to be a member of the ABMS BAA Call 0001, Category 4 IDIQ.  

This is not a solicitation. Response to the NOCA is not required or expected.

USAF is currently contemplating use of the following contract vehicle: ABMS IDIQ

NAICS Code: 541715 - Research and Development in the Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences (except Nanotechnology and Biotechnology) Category 4.

The Government is not seeking proposals at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals.

This (NOCA) is solely for information purposes; it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. The Government will not pay for any information received in response to this synopsis, nor will the Government compensate a respondent for any costs incurred in developing the information provided to AFNWC/PZHN.

An AFNWC Ombudsman has been appointed to consider and facilitate the resolution of concerns from offers, potential offers, and others for this acquisition. Before consulting the Ombudsman, concerned parties should first address their concerns, issues, disagreements and/or recommendations to the Contracting Officer for resolution. In addition, AFFARS 5352.201-9101, Ombudsman will be included in this acquisition’s solicitation and contract. The AFNWC Ombudsman can be contacted at 505-846-5849 or DSN 246-5849
