THIS ACTION IS AUTHORIZED EXCLUSIVELY AS A SOLE SOURCE
PROCUREMENT WITH THE National Cyber Security Alliance (NCSA). The U.S. Department of Homeland Security plans to procure contract services from NCSA to support the efforts of the Department's National Cyber Security Division (NCSD) to nationally promote cybersecurity awareness to empower citizens to use the Internet securely and safely, while protecting themselves, and the cyber infrastructure. This shall include supporting NCSD in advancing cyber security awareness with a broad range of stakeholders, which includes home users, small and medium sized enterprises, and the education community including administrators, teachers, and students. The anticipated period of performance is six (6) months with two one-month options. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all capability statements received by January 25, 2010 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
