Notice is hereby given that the City of Americus, Georgia will receive bids at the City Clerk’s office, 101 W. Lamar Street Americus, Georgia until 5:00pm, July 3rd, 2023 for the following: A company to conduct a thorough and comprehensive salary study for the roles within the city of Americus, GA in comparison to cities of similar design. GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS: Evaluation of job duties to ensure accuracy of job titles Collecting and evaluation of pay rates for roles within cities of similar design Collection and evaluation of full benefits packages (medical, dental, vision, LTD, STD, life insurance, etc) Collection and evaluation of Paid Time Off benefits (vacation, sick, personal) Collection and evaluation of educational opportunities Collection and evaluation of development opportunities Additional items related to evaluating the City of Americus’ full employment package PLACE OF DELIVERY The successful bidder shall complete and provide the study and provide recommendations to the Human Resources Director within an agreed upon time range. EXCEPTIONS TO SPECIFICATIONS: Exceptions shall be allowed if they are equal to or superior to the intent of the specification as written and provided, they are listed and entirely explained on a separate page entitled “Exceptions to Specifications”. If the bidder takes an exception, on the exception page, the bidder must state an option price to bring their specifications into full compliance with the department specifications.
