This is a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested. The Food and Drug Administration is soliciting computerized stereology investigation system plus apparatus for performing brain mapping, neuron tracing, anatomical mapping, and morphometry. The system to include stereo investigator microscope, computer and software/hardware. The system shall be capable of performing design-based stereology on isotropic or vertical (anisotropic) sections. The vendor must provide the installation, training and warranty.
