This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using the simplified acquisition procedures of FAR Part 13 to procure the rental of a concert hall to support U.S. Marine Band's FY22 Concert Series as set forth by Headquarters Marine Corps. Concert series includes eleven (12) band, orchestra and chamber music live stream performances, three (3) rehearsals, and (5) recording sessions on various days throughout FY22.

The Government intends to award a sole source contract for the above services to the firm of Nothern Virginia Community College, 8333 Little River TPKE, Annadale VA 22003-3743. Proposed contract action is for facility rental (supply) for which the Government intends to solicit only one source. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements.

A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
