In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, the Government intends to award a sole source contract for services to provide the Aviation and Missile Research, Development, and Engineering Center (AMRDEC), Software Engineering Directorate (SED), with a Concurrent Corporation Maintenance to support its Concurrent platforms in the Software Engineering Directorate (SED) Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) Lab. Without this maintenance, the SED HWIL Lab will be unable to perform testing, evaluate software, and provide real-world support to Terminal High-Altitude Air Defense (THAAD) Soldiers.
Delivery date 18 Apr 16.
The Contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, labor, tools, materials, supervision, transportation and other items and services necessary to perform product related configuring services in support of configuration and data management processes for the Aviation and Missile Research, Development, and Engineering Center (AMRDEC), Software Engineering Directorate (SED), Redstone Arsenal, AL.

The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Technical capability and price. Award will be made to the lowest price technically acceptable offer.
This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). In accordance with FAR 5.207, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
