The Overseas Private Investment Corporation intends to award a sole source purchase order to the incumbent firm Congressional Quarterly Inc. for the renewal of CQ.com. CQ.com is a legislative tracking service which provides in-depth coverage of legislative developments, Congressional schedules, detailed status of bills introduced in Congress, committee coverage and testimony, floor votes, legislative forecasts, member information, CQ news and analysis and access to CQ Archives. CQ.com provides detailed legislative tracking of each bill introduced in Congress with direct links to the full-text committee reports, related bills, and stories from CQ Weekly and CQ Today. CQ.com provides summaries and forecasts for all major bills before Congress. Congressional Record is provided in searchable full text and quick summaries of the major portions of the Congressional Record are provided in the CQ Record Scanner. Vote summaries are prepared by CQ editors and posted within an hour after floor votes. CQ.com provides customizable email alerts on a variety of topics. Licensing via private website shall provide access for five users. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. This is a sole source requirement and if after evaluation the agency determines that there is no other comparable service, an award will be made without further notification. Responses must be received, in writing, within fifteen (15) calendar days of publication of this notice. Interested parties must submit sufficient descriptive literature with their response to prove their capability to satisfy the requirements. Requests must be in writing. No telephone, fax, or email responses will be accepted. This acquisition is being conducted under the guidelines as set forth in the Simplified Acquisitions Procedures (SAP). The point of contact is Mr. Robert Campbell at 202-336-8553.
