The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) intends to make a Sole Source Award to Contractor, Harvey Lebson to perform consulting services needed to support the PBGC Benefits Administration and Payment Divisions and the Mangement Coordination Division (MCD) in some key initiatives.
The contractor will provide support for a six month period, through December 2009. The Contractor will provide consulting services to BAPD to assist in reviewing benefit payments for compliance with the Improper Payments Information Act, assist in reviewing BAPD operations, document current review process undertaken and to facilitate a knowledge transfer of Title IV of ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code, and PBGC regulations, policies and procedures as it relates to BAPD case processing activities to the MCD staff. An interested party may e-mail a written capability statement with sufficient experience for these required services, which shall not exceed 3 pages in length. Interested parties may submit their capability statements, and qualifications for the provision of this service, which may or may not be considered by the agency via email to [email protected] no later than 3:00 PM EDT on June 29, 2009.
