Request for Information (RFI) Contactless On The Move Face Sensor DUE: 26 February 2016
The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) Atlantic, Solutions
in Identity Management (SIM) Integrated Product Team (IPT) is seeking
information on commercial off the-shelf (COTS) contactless, on the move face
sensor. Once eligible products have been identified, additional information
will be requested at a later date.
The Gatekeeper On The Move Biometrics Program, which falls under the SIM IPT,
is investigating if any company has or is currently developing a contactless,
on the move face sensor. The sensor must capture faces without the subject
having to stop or touch any of the sensors. The sensor must also be able to
process at minimum 10 subjects per minute with the ability to be integrated
into a larger system.
Review of this information is being performed for the GOTM-B Program and the
SIM IPT, which aims to conduct objective comparative assessments and
validations of commercial equipment and products and provide those results to
the biometrics community of interest.
All information received will be treated as public knowledge and may be used in
GOTM-B Program documentation; therefore, vendors should not submit proprietary
information in response to this RFI. Specific information sought includes:
1. Company information, including name, address, and website;
2. Whether the company is a manufacturer or distributor;
3. A point of contact for follow-up information, and the point of contacts
phone number and e-mail address; and
4. Product name and model as well as current operating system.
The submitted information will be evaluated for inclusion in SIM IPT. If a SIM
IPT project on this type of equipment is executed, the equipment selection will
be based upon a number of factors. Consequently, follow-up requests for
feedback should not be made through the Federal Business Opportunities posting
agency. Vendors will be contacted following submission for more detailed
product information. Vendor provided information may be reformatted for
publication in GOTM-B Program documents.
