THE INFORMATION SOUGHT HEREIN IS FOR PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY (MARKET RESEARCH) AND SHALL NOT BE CONSTRUED AS A REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ), REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP), AND INVITATION FOR BID (IFB) OR AS AN OBLIGATION OR COMMITMENT ON THE PART OF THE GOVERNMENT TO ACQUIRE ANY PRODUCT OR SERVICE. THERE SHALL BE NO BASIS FOR CLAIMS AGAINST THE GOVERNMENT AS A RESULT OF INFORMATION SUBMITTED IN RESPONSE TO THE SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT. THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT INTEND TO AWARD A CONTRACT ON THE BASIS OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT OR OTHERWISE PAY FOR ANY INFORMATION SUBMITTED BY RESPONDENTS TO THIS REQUEST.    

Description:  The Contractor shall furnish services and materials for the preparation of POVS for shipment, servicing, drayage and related services, including the furnishing of all materials unless directed by the Contracting Officer. Unless otherwise indicated, the Contractor shall furnish all equipment, plant, labor and performance of all work in accomplishing containerization of POV for overseas shipment, and decontainerization of inbound POV shipments. Any work ordered before, and not completed by, during the performance period under this BPA, shall be governed by the terms of this agreement.  (See the attached draft PWS for details)
