The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention contemplates award of a sole source purchase order to Roche Diagnostics Corporation, 201 4th Avenue North, Suite 400, Nashville, TN 37219, for the continued maintenance of two Roche LightCyclers, serial numbers 1405007 and 1402259. The period of performance is for one year, payable quarterly or monthly in arrears, to provide total maintenance coverage, including one preventative maintenance visit per year. All original equipment manufacturer parts are provided in repairs. Three one-year option periods are also considered. CDC believes that this requirement is met by only one provider. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy agency requirements. No solicitation is being issued. Interested persons may use e-mail to identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement before the expiration date of the advertisement.
