The State of Wisconsin (State), Department of Administration (DOA), through its Consolidated Agency Purchasing Services (CAPS), on behalf of the Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS), requests Bids for Conveyance Inspection Services and intends to use the results of this process to award a Contract. Inspection of conveyances, which includes the following as defined in SPS 318 Wis. Admin. Code and §101.981(1), Wis. Stats.: • Elevators (Freight, Limited-use, limited-application, Part V, Passenger, Private residence, Rooftop, Sidewalk, Specialized purpose personnel elevator) • Escalators • Lifts (Inclined platform, Orchestra pit, Type B material, Vertical platform) • Moving walks • Dumbwaiters • Stairway chairlifts All inspections are completed during the construction of new equipment, after alterations to existing equipment, and annually for equipment operating on a regular basis.
