NOTICE OF SOURCES SOUGHT. This is a Sources Sought Synopsis in support of a market survey being conducted by the Air Force to determine interest and capabilities of potential sources. This synopsis is for informational and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation, or a synopsis of a solicitation, or a commitment on the part of the government to later publish a solicitation. The government will not reimburse the costs of preparing or submitting a response to this synopsis. Any information submitted in response to this sources sought is strictly voluntary. Company may provide a profile normally provided to General Public. Any questions should be submitted to the contract administrator listed above. The 49th Wing seeks the following:

1 Each: The contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, tools, equipment, materials, transportation, supervision and all other essential necessary to perform operations of a Contractor Operated Parts Store (COPARS) for the furnishing of commercially available automotive and related vehicle parts and accessories to support the vehicle fleet and miscellaneous equipment at Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico. Contractor is required to set up and maintain a store in a Government owned facility. All work shall be accomplished in accordance with the Description of Services (DoS). This is a commodities type contract with a period of performance of 1 Oct 2011 through 30 Sep 2012 with 4 one- year options.

Responses to this synopsis will be used for market research to determine under what, if any, set aside procedures this acquisition will be conducted. Small businesses (including veteran-owned, service-disabled veteran-owned, HUBZone, disadvantaged, and women-owned, and other small businesses) are particularly invited to respond to express interest in submitting a proposal and to provide information as to their qualifications. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for those concerns and its affiliates is 423120 and is defined as a concern whose average number of employees for the preceeding three fiscal years did not exceed 100 employees. Evaluation factors will be supplied in the Solicitation. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered.

All interested parties must be registered in CCR to be eligible for award. The contract, if solicited and awarded, is planned to be a Firm Fixed Price contract.
