Description:
This announcement will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The anticipated award will be a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The period of performance will be for one (1) base year and four (4) one-year option periods. The solicitation shall incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-47. This acquisition is to be set aside and awarded to 100% small business.

Contractor Operated Parts Store (COPARS) - is a Government supplied facility in which a contract will stock parts required by LRS and MMG. The parts required include automotive, truck, bus replacement parts, and tires. This is an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity type contract with a base performance period of 1 October 2010 through 30 September 2011 and four option years. The total period of performance will be from 1 Oct 2011 through 30 Sept 2016. This proposed procurement is under a 100 percent Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for those concerns and its affiliates is 423120. The small business size standard is 100 Employees. Request for Proposal (RFP) will be tentatively issued on or about 8 Mar 2011 with receipt of proposals tentatively scheduled on or about 7 Apr 2011. Pre-Proposal Conference/Site-visit will be on or around 17 Mar 11 (TBD). Evaluation factors will be supplied in the RFP. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered.
