The U.S. Census Bureau is issuing this notice as a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2005-26, dated June 12, 2008. CLIN 0001, CARTON, 18" x 12-1/2" x 6", Kraft, RSC, singlewall, C-flute with linerboard combination 69-33-69, glued joints, 275# test. Quantity 300,000 each. CLIN 0002, Quantity variation for CLIN 0001plus or minus 10,000 each. Pallet specifications: All orders must be palletized 25 per bundle, 20 bundles per pallet. Wood pallets are required with unnotched solid stringers allowing entry only from the ends. Plastic or pressboard pallets are NOT acceptable. Wooden pallets must not have deck boards that extend past the outside edge of the stringer. Pallets must measure 48" x 42", 48" x 40", 48" x 43", or 48" x 44' (48" dimension is the stringer measurement). Full two-sided entry on the 42", 40", 43", 44" width dimension is required. Maximum height allowance with pallet is 48". Delivery requirements: Partial deliveries will be required beginning approximately 09/19/2008. Initial delivery will need to be approximately 12,500 each. Subsequent deliveries will need to be approximately 37,500 each at one week intervals until complete.
