THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. This is an RFI released pursuant to FAR 15.201(e). This RFI is issued solely for information, planning purposes, and market research only; it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP. This RFI does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service. The WI Air National Guard (WIANG) is not at this time seeking proposals. WIANG will not pay for any cost associated with responding to this RFI. All costs will be solely at the interested party's expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP. If a solicitation is released, it will be posted in the Federal Business Opportunities (http://www.fbo.gov). Interested parties are advised to monitor this website for any information that may pertain to this RFI or any future RFP. The information provided in this RFI is subject to change and is not binding on the Government. All submissions become the property of the Federal Government, and will not be returned.

The purpose of this RFI is to conduct market research to determine if available technology solutions can address the C-sUAS requirement. WIANG is interested in obtaining information and identifying proven, reliable, fully developed, fully integrated, open architecture systems that have been deployed in operational environments.

The intent of the designed system is to provide detection, identification, and mitigation of small unmanned aircraft systems. At a minimum, C-sUAS system must detect the RF-signature of the sUAS and immediately apply a Unique Identification (UID) number for the each detected sUAS so that C-sUAS operator has the ability to "whitelist" friendly force's sUAS and "blacklist" all other sUAS. The C-sUAS operator must have the ability to select then mitigate any number of threat sUAS without affecting friendly Force sUAS operation in the same airspace at the same time.

Responses to this RFI are solicited from all interested parties. Please respond using the attached Response Form along with your product capabilities. Interested parties must respond to this requirement no later than 1:00 PM CST, Friday, March 8, 2019.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE HONORED.
