DLA MARITIME - PUGET SOUND intends to issue a solicitation for the procurement of Flame Resistant Coveralls of various sizes for Puget Sound Naval Shipyard (PSNS) maintenance operations. This requirement will be solicited under a 100% small business set-aside basis using the commercial item procedures outlined in FAR Part 12 and under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) outlined in FAR Part 13. It is anticipated that the resultant contract will be a single Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) Purchase Order. This requirement will utilize Low-Price, Technically Acceptable (LPTA) evaluation factors in determining the successful offer. The applicable NAICS Code is 315210 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. Offers shall contain FOB: Destination Bremerton, WA delivery terms. The solicitation number for this requirement is SPMYM2-13-Q-0463. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be available for download on or prior to 27 August 2013.

The RFP will be posted and available for download at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. The closing date of the solicitation will be 10 days from posting. Offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ from the aforementioned website and to frequently monitor the sites for any amendments to the RFQ. A bidders list will not be maintained by this office and no telephone or fax requests for the RFQ package will be accepted. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFQ and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render vendor offer non-responsive and result in rejection of the same.
