Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought
The Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) seeks to identify sources to provide screening testing for SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19 in the Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia areas.
This RFI is being issued to identify potential sources to facilitate the FMC’s screening testing program for SARS-CoV-2, to test Federal employees and contractor employees who work onsite and who are not fully vaccinated or who have declined to provide their vaccination information. Screening tests are intended to identify asymptomatic or presymptomatic infected individuals without known or suspected exposure to SARS-CoV-2. You may utilize any COVID-19 viral test that the Food and Drug Administration has authorized to detect current infection, such as a PCR or antigen test. Any test utilized must include a report that documents the test result and date and can be provided to the Federal employee or contractor employee who was tested, the FMC, or both.
The FMC is a small agency of approximately 120 employees and anticipates that roughly ten tests per week may be required; however, the number could fluctuate.
Interested parties are requested to respond to this RFI with detailed information on providing screening testing for employees and contractors of the FMC. Submissions shall be provided in PDF format and shall include:
