Requirements for the CROWS (Common Remotely Operated Weapon Station) weapon systems are as follows: Cover needs to be lightweight, durable with a minimum life span of 2-4 years. Covers need to be 100 % waterproof with a soft protective inner lining. Covers are required to have adequate strapping with tie downs to stay in place under windy conditions. Covers should block 99% of UV Rays. All vendors must provide a customized design. Venders must provide a minimum warranty.
