This combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.  The Request for Quote (RFQ) number is RFQ- C004460, and is being conducted as 100% Small Business Set-Aside, under the procedures of Part 12 and 13, test program, for brand name Crye body armor system.  The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) number is 315999, the standard is 500.  The RFQ incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-41.  The Federal Bureau of Investigation intends to award a Firm-Fixed price type contract for Crye body armor systems.  The item to be supplied is:  thirty (30) each airframe helmets (NSN HLM-MO1-06), sixty (60) each Halligan tool attachment straps (NSN BLC-017-00-000), fifteen (15) each CPC multicam plate carriers (NSN CPC-D01-02), fifteen (15) each low-profile multicam belts (NSN BLC-B01-02), fifteen (15) each STKSS load bearing systems (NSN BLC-028-02), six (6) each JPC multicam plate carriers (NSN BLC-032-02), and thirty-eight (38) plate pouch sets (NSN COV-PS1-02).  Items called for by this RFQ have been identified by a "brand name" description and shall be quoted as such.  All prices quoted shall incorporate destination charges and all taxes associated with the product.  The provision at FAR Clause 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors (JUN 2008), and addendum is incorporated.  ADDENDUM to 52.212-1, modify (b) Submission to offers: "Submit signed and dated offers to the attention of Ms. Theresa M.
