SLAC is looking for a dry-cryostat for continuous operation in the temperature range 1.5K - 300K, with one-shot operation acceptable for temperatures below 5K. The cryostat is for use in the development of new electronic and thermal transport instrumentation, and as such a large sample space, changeable electronic feed-throughs and a probe-based top-loading design are all required. It must be possible to operate with a sample in vapor or in vacuum, although if a separate probe/sample stage is required for this capability then this can be purchased at a later date. The resulting purchase order will be issued on a fixed price basis. SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory Terms & Conditions for Commercial Supplies and Services under $100,000 M365 (Rev 17Feb2015) will be made a part of the resulting order.
