ASC/PKOBA at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio contemplates issuing competitive solicitation FA8601-11-R-0069 to result in the award of a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Requirements contract. This anticipated solicitation will be to procure Cryotech E36® potassium acetate-based liquid runway deicer and Cryotech NAAC® anhydrous sodium acetate-based solid runway deicer with delivery occurring at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. The contractor shall provide delivery of both of these items to WPAFB, delivery shall include the specified amount of gallons of the Cryotech E36® potassium acetate-based liquid runway deicer and/or the specified amount sacks of the Cryotech NAAC® anhydrous sodium acetate-based solid runway deicer on an as needed basis. Award will be made to the offeror whose offer represents the best value to the Government price and other factors considered. The contemplated contract is to have a base period, with the amount of time for this base period to be detetermined, along with four one-year option periods. The solicitation is expected to be released on or about 4 October 2011. This acquisition will be a brand name only acquisition.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 325998. The size standard is 500 Employees. The Department of Defense has determined the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be the single DoD registration for contractors who conduct business or who are interested in conducting business with the DoD.
